Care instructions
How do you clean the work?
The textile in my work is pure sheep's wool, with no treatment or coating. The easiest way to dust it is using a can of compressed air, like you'd use on your computer keyboard, etc. The surface may be wispy but the fibers are all anchored to the wood, so don't worry about slight movement on the surface. For a deep clean you can hold a piece of nylon screen over the textile and vacuum the surface.
Will the colors fade?
Like any antique or art textile, I suggest that you do not place your piece in direct sunlight. The fiber reactive dyes used in contemporary wool roving are permanent and archival, and will not fade over time under the right conditions.
